Steve Jobs – Apple’s CEO Weight Loss Fears
Apple’s Chief Executive, Steve Jobs, has taken a 6 month leave of absence, due to fears over a weight loss health problem. Mr Jobs recently announced he had a hormone deficiency that had caused him to lose weight. Now the boss of the company that brought us the Mac computer, the iPod & the iPhone is fighting a personal battle for the second time in his life and once again hands over control of the company he so proudly built.

Steve Jobs has previously been through a battle with the dreaded big C, that’s Cancer to the uninformed, and after fighting the disease for 18 months with a homeopathic diet he finally underwent surgery. Strikingly, after he underwent surgery, he was only away from Apple’s hotseat for just over 2 weeks. Now, he fights again, but has been advised this time to vacate the hotseat for a minimum of 6 months this time.
No-one is certain what exactly is wrong with Mr Jobs, well anyone that is outside of Mr Jobs inner-circle that is. But rapid weight loss is never a good sign.
Apple are trying to protect their boss’s privacy, for that they have to be commended but at the same time they are also wanting to achieve their optimum market share and by not releasing anymore details than what is required is also a strategic move in protecting the companies share price.
I’ll add more on this story as it develops but in the meantime from all of us at the Weight Loss Now blog we wish Mr Jobs a full and healthy recovery.
